Process for the production of biodiesel
Together with the Proviron Chemical Company, Magnets for Emulsions has developed a new and innovative way of producing biodiesel, incorporating M4E magnetic mixing devices that provide excellent mixing of the reagents, allowing their reaction to get a head start.
Significant savings are made in energy costs and maintenance. The M4E-Proviron process also has the advantage of a lower investment cost and a simpler, straightforward approach to the reaction.
The M4E-Proviron process is possible not only in the production of biodiesel, but for any chemical reaction that is diffusion limited and has immiscible reagents.
The process is used by Proviron in its biodiesel producing facilities in Oostende and has run without problems and uninterrupted for over 3 years, thus providing an excellent reference for the strength of M4E technology.
