About Us
Magnetic technology was invented at the Centre for Surface Chemistry and Catalysis of the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium.
The intellectual property of the technology is worldwide protected by patents. M4E N.V. is a spin-off company of the University, founded in October 2004. In 2006, M4E started a technological and operational partnership with the engineering company Cegelec. Relying on Cegelec’s broad technical expertise, this partnership enables M4E to offer tailor made magnetic devices and installations for emulsion and powder dissolving applications as well as to facilitate incorporation of M4E technology in existing process installations.
During its short history, M4E has already developed successful applications for its magnetic technology in cosmetics, biodiesel and mayonnaise production.
