Magnetic Powder dissolving technology

Dissolving powders in an industrial setting can be a tedious and difficult task. Dust, cluttering, lump formation and other phenomena regularly occur when dry powders are wetted in a tank while using a stirrer or high shear mixer.

To overcome these difficulties, Magnets for Emulsions has developed a new type of powder dissolving device. It combines magnetic technology with a venturi to draw the powder into the stream. This unique technology enables an inline addition of powder , requiring only a pump and the magnetic powder dissolving device. The powders are fully wetted after leaving the magnetic device and ready for further processing.

An advantage of our technology is that hard to dissolve powders such as the carbomer type, xanthane gum or modified cellulose can be dissolved at room temperature.

Another advantage is that polymer type powders are not degraded by high shear forces, as there are no high shear forces working on them. As a consequence, the quality of the end product is often better when processed with M4E technology.
